Release Date For The nVidia 8600 / 8500 Confirmed

If you still haven’t managed to scrap up enough cash to buy yourself one of the new 8800 series cards then this is the next best thing and at a fraction of the price.

The new GeForce 8600 GTS, 8600 GT and 8500 GT are all due to be release on April 17th at what I think is a very reasonable price point. They will range from $199-$229, $149-$159 and $89-$129 and I should also bring the price of the 8800GTX/GTS down by a very large amount. The 8500GT will be the lowest prices DX10 capable card on the market and be very popular for all low end Vista systems.

If you are in the market for a 8XXX series graphics card then I suggest you hold on just a few weeks longer and the range will be allot wide and the prices should be a heap lower.
