More AMD Price Cuts
By Robert | April 10, 2007

It looks like AMD are set for another huge price cut. AMD have been struggling to keep up with Intel after they released the new Core2 range of CPU’s. The new Intel line is a huge amount faster and just newer technology.
AMD know they are the slower of the two and are trying to make up for that buy beating them in the price market. I think that AMD’s are still good value at the price point they are now and the new price cut is only going to make that better.
If you can live without the ultimate in performance and looking for a good low end home computer AMD should not be passed up. Some of the processors that AMD did sell for $400 only a few months ago are now going for less than half that. Just because Intel got faster does not mean that AMD got slower.
