YouTube Video Editing Now Online

YouTube unveiled it’s new online video editing tool YouTube Remixer. All you need now is a bottom of the line camcorder or cemra phone and you good to go. If Final Cut seems like over kill for you video edditing needs, then this new tool may just be what you need and in traditional YouTube/Google fashion, it’s all 100% free. YouTube Remixer lets you add text, graphics, or audio to your videos. You can also create transitions between scenes in your video.

The features and layout remind me a lot of Photobucket’s “Remix” feature, which does not come as a surprise since they share more than just a similar name. Both are powered by Adobe Premiere Express. If you think you can save your self a few hundred dollars with this new release, you may want to dust off the Final Cut disc. This is by no means a full featured video editing suit, but will do most things that you will need for a YouTube video. All in all, this will be a much used tool and a great addition to YouTube.
