Google Will Tackle PowerPoint

There’s no need to play the guessing game any more. Today at the Web 2.0 Expo Google CEO Eric Schmidt confirmed that Google will be launching a PowerPoint like tool for Google spreadsheet, finishing off the online office suit. as you would expect from Google this new service will be combined with Gmail adn almost all the other tools offered by Google.Schmidt also said that they’re office suite isn’t a threat to Microsoft. Microsoft might se it differently.

Google has also announced that they have bought Tonic Systems to that will provide the horsepower behind the scenes.
