Digg Goes iPhone Friendly

By Robert | July 10, 2007

iphone-digg2.gifToday Digg.com has announced it has a new iPhone compatible section of it’s very popular social bookmarking site. The new section of digg has all the most important features of digg, but all in an iPhone sized package. It includes, being able to see the top stories on digg and the top 5 comments.

It was always going to happen. Kevin Rose, the founder of digg.com has alway been a huge Mac fan, and has been called a Mac fanboi on more then one occasion. With the love for all things Apple also includes love for the new iPhone.

I think you will see many more site go, not only iPhone friendly but just phone friendly in general. The internet browsing by phone is becoming very popular these days and will only continue to get more popular as the technology advances. It has become very hard these days to surf the web on your phone, with all the videos and flash that are on the most standard web pages. This will hopefully encourage more site owners to do the the same.
