Linux On Dells, Not Just Yet
By Robert | May 1, 2007

No official word just yet yet, but wordfrom Fabian Rodriguez (a member of Ubuntu’s support staff) is that Dell’s going to officially support Ubuntu installations on their Dell desktops. What dell considers support is still left up your imagination but we all hope it will consist of install and full tech support for the open source OS. Ubuntu, for those that have never heard of it, it is a very friendly and very easy to use version of Linux. It is the most popular for home use and is only getting bigger.
It considered by some die hard Linux fans that it is not as Linux as it should be, but for new comers it is the ideal comprimse between ease of use and the power that Linux offers it’s users
