A lot of peripherals will appear on the market with the promise of making you be better at games. The truth is that a bad gamer will not play better when aided by a better mouse or keyboard. On the other hand, it is a fact that a better keyboard and mouse will help a mediocre player in getting better because of providing him with better accuracy. Up until now, everybody focused on Logitech and Razer in order to gain this accuracy advantage. Logitech actually just upgraded the gaming mouse called Logitech G9 while also updating the keyboard G15, also designed for gaming. Razer rolled out a new gaming mouse called Lachesis, appearing with 4000 dpi sensitivity while also promoting the Lycosa keyboard, equipped with backlight, something achieved for the first time for Razer when it comes to their gaming keyboards.

Now we get to see another peripheral company that steps on the scene in ROCCAT. They come with two peripherals that are said to shake the gaming industry of the moment. The first one is the ROCCAT Kone gaming mouse, which is said to put an end to the problem of moving cursor when you pick the mouse up because of Distance control Unit. It should interrupt the movement of the cursor if it senses changes in the distance between the sensor and the desktop. This mouse also comes with 96kb of onboard memory.

The second device is the ROCCAT Valo gaming keyboard, including backlit keys and a nice G15 display style right above the num pad. It also comes with 2MB of onboard memory needed to store profiles and macros. What is interesting is the fact that there are 41 macro keys available together with an external gaming microphone. We still do not know anything about price but these two babies are sure to be popular. We will have to see what Logitech and Razer come up with next.
