Well, now I know left is not equal to right. And widget is not equal to gadget. But in a few years, will Windows be equal to Mac?

I also think Windows is trying to keep up, but is having serious problems. Windows needs a code cleanup, because it has become too messy, according to several MS coders. So when changes are done in part A, there are a 100 other parts using A in different manners, causing problems all over the place.

Hi!

Isn't Vista a complete code re-write? I thought it was. M$ should try, with all those software engineers and developers in its payroll, to come up with a better system.

Well, they may not be original but they sure have the best marketing juggernaut.

'Windows have always been lagging behind and trying to catch up. Windows should stop being always backward compatiable and start thinking more out of the box to develop new unique ideas.

But I guess that the Windows OS is a huge monster of source code, and there are no one at M$ that can do much about it. I do not think Vista is a clean up of the OS, I might be wrong, but I do not think it is.

Yeah, everything points out that Windows is "copying" Mac's ideas but do you think that if that was the case Mac wouldn't file a lawsuit? I mean there are copyrights and all that, I don't think Microsoft would want to mess with that.

Well, no.

They aren't copying the code or anything... Just the ideas.
