Default Blog Commenting

Do you use this technique? I've never used it but I'm thinking about it a lot because I want to increase my forum's pagerank. I've got a list of "do follow "blogs. Is it really helpful or just a waste of my time?

I think it can help for sure. But you need to make sure you do it right and that the blogs are related to your content.

If you link to you site form the "URL" section in the comments, almost all of them have "nofollow" attribute. This means that the link has almost no SEO value at all.

You can bypass that by adding a link into the comment itself.

The "nofollow" attribute, tells a search engine bot to not follow the link. So as far as a search engine is concerned, a "nofollow" link doesn't exist.

I used to do that but now blogspot has a nofollow policy. I comment only on my friends blogs now.
