Is PS3 worth it

Hi,

for you guys that have a PS2 and have bought a PS3, is the upgrade worth it? I think PS2 is still pretty good quality, and I am not sure if upgrading to PS3 is worth it. I will do it if I think it is worth the extra money.

What are your opinions?

I haven't actually seen the PS3 yet lol, but my nephew has the PS2 that i play sometimes, he left that to play the Xbox but as for me i haven't seen the PS3 so i really don't have much to say about it, but i suppose if it had more features to it then it might be good to upgrade and worth it.

If you already have an Xbox 360 then I wouldn't personally bother with a PS3 just yet. If you're still just using a PS2, and can afford a PS3 then I'd buy one in an instant.

The difference in quality when you step up to next gen is astounding. I don't personally own a PS3, I just use a friends for the moment and have a 360 at home, but I could never go back to the PS2 after having played on either of the main 'next gen' consoles. In fact I just traded in all of my PS2 games recently because I hadn't played on any of them except Guitar Hero for several months.

Dude the PS3 freezes up if you play it for like... a few hours. Then you have to wait tell it cools down to play it for a few more hours. It's only a good buy if you play it a few hours a day.
