PS2 Durability

I really don't like Play station 2's. I used to have one, and it broke, and i always hear of them braking. However i don't hear as many stories of Xbox's breaking. What do you think?

I have PS2, and it's very good. I've never had a problem with it .

I've never had any problems with any console, except for a slimline PS2 that broke after much mis-treatment. Every other console I've owned (Playstation variants and Xbox variants) has survived years of heavy play. I guess I'm just very lucky.

My brother has a PS2. Actually, he gave it to me because he already has a PS3. He bought his PS2 a couple of years ago, and until now it's still working. I still use it once in a while.
