What do you think of the iPhone?

My opinion: I wouldn't buy it. It's so expensive, and the only reason that its better than other phones is because it's apple-made. Everything in that phone is available in current phones. ALSO a cell PHONE is called a PHONE because it's a phone.. NOT A COMPUTER! Everything I need is in my v170 motorola, and it does hardly anything. BUT IT CALLS PEOPLE! That works for me!

iPhone is way to expensive for me too. Like you i just need a phone not a address book/games/ PC/MP3/video player and it may be an ok phone after it's do all that.

I also agree. If it were the cost of a normal phone, I would buy it in a heart beat. But I'm not paying a s*** load of money for a phone.

I would consider it more, if it was running actual OS X.. like AQUA, not a special iPhone interface.

The money doesn't bother me, but I don't need a MP3 player, and I want my cell phone to be light-weight and thin.

Well I was recently thinking about getting a new iPod as my old Mini died, and I was thinking, why not just wait for the iPhone?

I just wanted to know others' opinions on this phone/ipod/PDA, at the price of $600 I was thinking this is great since it has everything in one. But drawbacks are the battery life (5 hours isn't enough) and HDD space.

So should I buy it?

I think the whole iTrend has got to stop. iApple can take over the entire iWorld.

Their iTalk is so "hip" with teens and young adults that people overlook the quality of a product to be in style and to be "hip".

The iPhone is a perfect example of a less-than-satisfactory product that will be making a corporation that pays relatively nothing for parts millions.

People also overlook the minimum plan Cingular will be packing the iPhone buyers with. In the end, included with the phone itself you will have paid over 2000 dollars. For an Apple product. Apple products average life span is less than 1.5 years, which is why they come out with new versions so often.

Hi to all ,

I hav e a little problem with my iphone and appreciate if some expert may help me to resolve the issue :

I upgraded iphone from 1.1.3 to 1.1.4 , but now hen I receive calls I can not see the contact name and image but just the calling phone number on my screen .. Guess I did something wrong .. Is there a way to correct this ? I deleted all the adress book with a file manager softare I downloaaded , then through iTunes I copied all contacts with sycn option but result is the samme , I can only see the calling number on screen but not the name !?! Is there any expert who can help me to resolve ??? All the best
