Default Overclocking

Hi,

I have been thinking of overclocking my new pentium. Is this still as easy as the older once and do anyone of you have a good tutorial on this?

Thanks

First you need to find out if the motherboard can be over clocked, it may be at maximum frequency now. Most over clocking is easy to do, but can be a destructive if you go too far. Google overclocking and you'll find loads of info.

Although it can be done, I would not really recommend it anymore with the complexity of motherboards and all the components, but I really cannot stop you from doing it either. be careful and make sure that you get good instructions if you really intend to do this. Also if you are using a desktop computer, make sure that you have additional cooling fans.

Yeah I've been thinking about overclocking my PC but I'm not sure if I should do that. I guess I'm not sure how it works so I'm afraid to break my computer and not be able to make it work properly.

I think I'll have to do quite a bit of research before doing this!

I'd be very careful when overclocking, if I was you. Ensure that you have adequate cooling for your system else all your CPU will be doing is rolling around on its back like a dead fly. Be like the digital version of that monk who self-immolated himself in protest of the treatment of his people.

Cooling is the most important part.

As always take it slow and don't over do it.

You can repair that by reseting the bios ( remove the bios jumper, wait 5 seconds and then put it back ) and then the problem is solved
