I run linux as my main OS. I also have Windows XP installed on a desktop for the occasional windows only program.

Im using Ubuntu Linux 7.0.4 and im not happy I accidentally overwrite my Windows with it and so desperately need to go back but when i install it i lose all my sound drivers, wireless card drivers, pretty much all my drivers.

It's on my list of things to try out, but I can't bring myself to get enthusiastic about an operating system that requires an emulator for games (and I feel like a triple-booting system is pushing my luck).

Keeps me off of Macs too, for that matter.

I don't do gaming, so it doesn't matter for me. lol.

I use Linux on some old machines, but my main machine is Windows since I do a lot of gaming. I love Smoothwall for 'quick and dirty' hardware firewalling - it's easy to set up and nice and stable. I run a slimmed down version of Debian on one of my really ancient laptops, and it works quite well considering it's running on junk.

I use windows as a main machine, and linux as a standalone server for developing on remotely (using ssh/ftp to talk to my machine, even though it is right next to me).

Only because Windows Vista sucks as a development environment for LAMP systems!
