Personally, I am keen on CentOS. It's one of the better distributions of Linux and is actually quite stable. I've not yet used it as a desktop OS, however, as a server os it works very well with control panels such as Plesk, CPanel and DirectAdmin.

I used to be quite a fan of RedHat, until Enterprise was released. Now Fedora is probably the better of the two.

I used to use fedora, now I use Freespire, but usually my Mac Mini with Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.9

I've tried Red Hat, Xandros, and Knoppix. I've finally settled on Ubuntu. Tried all 3 varieties, Gnome, KDE, and XFCE. Ubuntu works great, no problems with my hardware.
