I personally believe that the iPhone is just another hype created by the all-so-familar Mr. Jobs. It doesn't have anything special to offer but a superficial interface with attractive animation tweening. However, with that said, the one feature I do particularly like is the WiFi. For when I move abroad, sometime soon - hopefully, places like Malta have WiFi just about everywhere.

I personally can't wait till its released on the 14th of December, pity about it being O2 network only, but its a small issue for a brilliant phone!

Im excited about the release of the iphone. Not sure of the exact date of release though for us in Australia or what network although i heard rumors that it will be with Vodaphone.

I haven't heard what network it will be on in OZ.

I think it's a nice phone but the price is just too much. I don't mind paying extra for a good phone, but I'm not going to pay extra just for the apple brand name.

i was a part of survey where we asked people if they were really looking out for the release of iphone and will it be successful? it was amazing to find that not many people were planning to buy it and thought that that it is going to fail miserably. its just riding on the good job done by ipod.
i am myself waiting for the release of gphone, from google but not much have been heard about it yet.
