Arrow News sites

What sites do you go to for news?

For world news, I tend to always end up at BBC - homepage - Home of the BBC on the Internet.

I also regularly skim CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News and MSN.com.

For local news, I read Nashville, Tennessee news from The Tennessean, Tennessean.com - MUSIC CITY U.S.A and grudgingly, my local country music radio station's site.

Past that, I like cruising around Digg and Fark.

What'bout y'all?

Well, I like the "Today" module on my.yahoo.com. It shows me some of the headlines in a nice neat format. In fact, this is the only reason I still use my.yahoo.com instead of google.com/ig.

For the majority of my technology news, I use digg.com.

For other news, I mainly listen to my local news station. I also read the paper (yes, they still exist ) and watch some news on tv.

I actually use Vista's sidebar and customize it with a few RSS feeds from BBC and CNN. You can get custom sidebar tools from MSN.com.

Some very cool stuff on there, and I usually check the main RSS titles and follow the links.

I use a cross section of news sources, MSNBC, local TV stations online feeds, Yahoo, Digg and the ISP homepage. Reuters and BBC are good of a different slant on the same info and will even provide some details that others will gloss over or even ignore. I don't rely on just one source.
