My computing area is pretty basic. I have my laptop on my desk. I have a printer to one side of it, and a second monitor to the right of it. Below it, I have a computer that I am working on upgrading.

No. I don't have any at the moment. It's also pretty cluttered with papers and other junk. There really isn't anything to see. Just picture your standard office.

My home has too many computers, I have created a monster. My first computer for the home was in '92, an IBM AT beast, that got everyone started. Now, I have too many. MY son has a laptop, my daughter has a desktop and a laptop, I have two units, both desktops, one is just basically a server, printer spooler for all to use. Throw in a PSP, a PS2 and a PS3. Luckily I have a regular router to handle the wired ones and another WIFI router to handle the wireless laptops and Sony stuff. The wired router has a parellel port too and I have a scanner hooked to it. Thank goodness I know how to set this all up or I'd be supporting someones boating hobby.

That sounds like a very complicated setup you have there.

I'm glad you know what your doing because i would have no idea. Networking is not my strong point.

Lol! On our cable modem/wireless router (motorola SBG900) if I run the cable through a cable splitter (for TV too) the internet suddenly goes off at unexpected times.
