Default PCs or Laptops?

What would likely be your next purchase? Laptops have certainly caught up with desktops in speed and power for regular users, barring extreme gaming and graphic needs. They're also more energy efficient.

I have two desk top PCs and two laptops, and an iMac.... I use the PCs for different things, the great thing with a laptop is that you can take it with you. So I do a lot on the go work, and that is where my laptop is coming in. For gaming I have found that my boosted up desktop is a better choice than my laptop, but hey laptops are catching up fast

I have always been a gamer, I have always wanted the most performance I can get. Now days, my work is making me travel a fair bit, so it's about time I golt a laptop.

I have wanted to get a MacBook for ages, but I always question the whole change over to a Mac decision.

Well I use to be a big gamer ( custom desktop ) but now i moved to a Macbook ( have parrells but dont use / game.. waste of 80$ ) Sense the move to Mac OS I love it.. i put windows on it yet never use. And for your question, laptop or pc.. ask yourself.. will you travel, school or move it. I barely move my laptop but when i do its so nice to be able to travel with it. I use it on my desktop 90% of time, but when i move its great so im not mad at all about having a laptop on my desk.

I currently own a DELL laptop and I'm loving it so far. My laptop is 2 years old and has everything I need but it is getting a little slower. I think my next purchase is going to be another laptop since it is the most convenient choice for me because I'm a student and I rarely spend time at home...
I'll probably get my new laptop in the next 2 years...

I'd bite the bullet and go for it. If you don't like it, you can always put Windoze on it.

It has a camera in it... and it runs MACCCCCC!!! lol..

I'd wait for Leopard, though.

My next purchase will be a laptop, because my old one is on its last legs and I do a lot of travelling. I'll just be getting a basic laptop, nothing fancy because for me having something small and light is important. I save performance and power for my main machine.

For me, always the laptop. Once you use one and can take it with you, you may never want to go back to using a desktop. I do have a main system that I use at home, but will always have laptops for work. Since I travel as well in some of my work and it is easy to keep what I need close.

I used to use a PC but since I am planning on doing much more offline business in the near future, I invested in a laptop. It also allows move to travel the world and all I need then is a WiFi point and I can check up on my websites. Too handy!
