I was thinking the same thing about the link ads. I really hate them because you always get those menus popping up, etc.

But... I am sure it is helping pay for the forum, so if I had to choose no forum or forum with link ads, then I'll be happy with the link ads.

They are a little bit annoying. But it does cost money to keep a site like this up. And ads are an easy way to generate money.

I was just wondering, what service provides the link ads? I've seen them on a lot of sites, but I never knew where to get them.

If it was a professional thing, I would be careful, but since it's an informal forum, i didn't think it matters.

(dont even THINK about telling me I should capitalize 'dont' and put a apostrophe in it, either.)

Fine, I won't tell you about the dont. I'll tell you to capitalize your 'i'. Also, finatic should be spelled fanatic (Google spell check rules!). In formal English, 'lol' should be written out as laughing out loud. Since that has no subject, it isn't a sentence.

I think it does matter if you use correct English online sometimes. I know on other forums I post on that the ones that don't ever use punctuation or spell things wrong are kind of just ignored.

I know I don't use perfect English or sentence structure all the time, but if you take a few seconds to re-read your post before you send, it often helps quite a bit to find obvious things that will stand out to others.
