Which camera can take really good shots? I have a camera i think it's quite good i love how i can take a picture in the dark and it comes out really good although when taking the picture i couldn't see anything, but what is the best camera out there, and what makes a camera so good.

The best camera to own is the one that fits your needs and matches your lifestyle. What I mean is that not every camera is for every person. If you are taking most of your pictures up close then a point and shoot should be just fine, or if you are needing something where you can take pictures from a long distance an SLR with appropriate lens size will be better.

I first of all go with a brand I am familiar with (this is so that I already have an idea of how reliable they are, how long they might last, so on). Then I look at the various models to see which ones have the features that I am looking for. Then I choose the from those one the one that matches the closest to the needs I have.

I have always wanted a decent camera. I have never bought a good one. I don't think I would know how to drive it.

I like to very simple point and shoot ones. The SLR's have way too many options and butting for me.
