Re: What kind of camera do you have? We have too many really. The three kids have a Canon Sureshot W/4MB, an HP, I don't know the model and a Pentax P50 w/ 5 MP. Personally I use a real film SLR, a Minolta X-370 with 50mm, 35-80 zoom, 70-220 zoom and a fixed 500mm telephoto. I have played with many digital types, some costing as much as $1,000. and not found one to be as reliable or simple to use as the SLR. I don't mind the cost of film when I know that what I take will turn out as I took it. Shutter delay and multi-flash is very annoying and makes it hard to work with. The depth of field is the biggest draw-back and with manual focus and aperature, I can select what it want to be in focus and get a depth od field that can't be matched with any digital. If I want them in the computer, I can either get the photo CD or scan them in myself.
