We have too many really. The three kids have a Canon Sureshot W/4MB, an HP, I don't know the model and a Pentax P50 w/ 5 MP. Personally I use a real film SLR, a Minolta X-370 with 50mm, 35-80 zoom, 70-220 zoom and a fixed 500mm telephoto. I have played with many digital types, some costing as much as $1,000. and not found one to be as reliable or simple to use as the SLR. I don't mind the cost of film when I know that what I take will turn out as I took it. Shutter delay and multi-flash is very annoying and makes it hard to work with. The depth of field is the biggest draw-back and with manual focus and aperature, I can select what it want to be in focus and get a depth od field that can't be matched with any digital. If I want them in the computer, I can either get the photo CD or scan them in myself.

I have a crappy Olympus IR-300. It has 5.0 megapixels, 3x optical zoom, and a 2 inch color LCD. The thing I hate about it is the Scene selector. You select the location of where you are taking the picture from a menu. The camera then adjusts itself automatically. From what I can tell, there is no way to accomplish these adjustments manually.

I have a DiMage G400 Minolta with 4 megapixels. I got it with Airmiles a couple years ago, and was pleasantly surprised with the modest video capability of it, too.

I've made some cheesy home movies with it that we found entertaining.

I have a very basic Kodak, an easyshare c653. Nice cam, albeit it's a little slow on follow-up shots. I already went through 2 DSCs and I hope this little kodak can take some abuse.

I have two - Sony DSC-P8 and Sony DSC-T5.

I don't use my cameras that much. I use it for special ocassions and to take pictures of my pets. I don't take my cameras everywhere I go and I am definitely not a camwhore
