The Future Looks Bright for Apple

By Robert | October 28, 2007

apple.jpgRecently we got to see news that Apple showed a growth of 67% and according to UBS Investment Research this is only the beginning as big things are predicted for next year. It all started with the early iPod models and now we are witnessing the iPhone and the iPod working together as they are driving the sales of Apple computers as well.

According to UBS analyst Ben Reitzes, there are many reasons to why Apple stock rose to $220. The investment research company believes that Apple is going to rise even more because of the multiplier effect created. It seems that the build up created with the launch of the iPhone linked with the constant increase in sales of accessories are both helping in boosting retail traffic while increasing sales of iPods and Macs. In January we will be faced with Macworld Expo and this will be another moment that is bound to increase shares value for Apple.

PC sales were increased by 10 percent over early predictions and this quickly made Apple the third largest home personal computer maker behind Dell and Compaq. The media did not help the iPhone but it also sold higher than expected and all of this ads to the increase in Apple value. The only thing that went bad for the company was the fact that the iPod sell less than in the previous quarter, although sales were still very strong. On the other hand we are also dealing with a new iPod lineup and the holiday season right around the quarter. This will surely increase iPod sales and if we also think about the facts that we have a new Mac OS X Leopard on the market, we can notice an updated iMac and there will be a good European iPhone launch, we are sure to see even more profits for Apple.
