YouTube On Your iPhone

By Robert | June 21, 2007

iphone-youtube1.jpgLast month Steve Jobs, promised all the AppleTV fans that would be able to watch YouTube video’s on there new AppleTV. Well today apple have come goos on that promise with the release of a free update that will enable you AppleTV to do exactly what Steve said it would, play YouTube.

Not a big deal you say?

But those sneaky little PR folks at Cupertino decided to make it a big deal by pack a little surprise into the press release for the AppleTV update.

Now the iPhoneis set to take the AppleTV’s place as the most overpriced YouTube Video player.

The news was not as much of a surprise as it would have been a week ago. Just last week YouTube released it’s new mobile interface, which will let you play Youtube video’s on almost any phone with a data plan. So it is not so much an iPhone feature, but the iPhone does have a very nice looking interface with YouTube and will play the videos fullscreen.
